Fuji Bicycle has launched an official promotional campaign for the new “A Bicyclephone Holder” smartphone accessory, which features a pair of interchangeable phone holders to be placed on a bike.
The phone holders are made out of durable plastic, and are available in five colors and can be purchased for $300 USD on Fuji’s website.
The promotional video showcases the accessories as they arrive at the company’s Fuji Bicycle headquarters in Tokyo.
“The smartphone holder is an interesting concept, which we hope will prove useful in the future, especially for those who are interested in the sport of cycling,” said Fuji CEO Yoshihide Fujiwara.
“It has the unique feature of a bicycle phone holder which can be used as a mobile phone holder.
With this smartphone holder, a person can use a smartphone for all sorts of purposes.”
The smartphone holders are compatible with the Moto X smartphone and the Moto G smartphone.
Fuji’s promotional video also features an interview with the head of the company.
“We have been researching and testing the concept for quite a while now, and we are excited to launch the first of these products to the public,” said Hiroshi Yamashita.
“I am very excited about this product, and am sure that its future development will bring many interesting new products for people to enjoy.”
The company said the first smartphone holder will be available for sale at the Fuji Bicyclestore in Tokyo on April 16, but the first batch of 10,000 will go on sale at select locations in June.
